About Me

I'm an abstract painter and novelist living in Italy on the island of Procida, located at the edge of the Gulf of Naples not far from Capri. Many of my paintings are in Venice, where I lived for several years.

My novels are what I describe as dark fiction, or literary dark fiction, in the genres of horror/thriller and science fiction.

In a former life I practiced law in Maryland (I'm a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court), and served on a nuclear submarine in the Navy.
